Biography

Academic Background

Dr. Alexander Goulden is predominantly a researcher of the nexus between the esoteric traditions and physical sciences, a metaphysician with a background in the history of science. He holds an M.A. in History, an M.Phil. in Philosophy of Science and a Ph.D. in Metaphysics. His M.Phil research at Cambridge University focused on the theory-dependence of scientific observation.

Gradually, his research efforts convinced him that the greatest truths were to be found in the suppressed and forgotten scientific ideas of ancient civilizations and “primitive” cultures, both of which indicated the primacy of consciousness as the substrate of our physical Universe.

In his doctoral work, he investigated the emergent (or revived) paradigm of a multidimensional reality, carrying out certain experiments in subtle energy phenomena by reference to the Egyptian radiesthesia concepts and instrumentation of Dr. Ibrahim Karim, and the Bioresonance concepts and instrumentation of Paul Schmidt. He also engaged in experiments on the remote perception, manipulation and healing of the human bioenergetic field with the telepathic healer and medical intuitive, Dr. Phyllis Light.

Goulden and the Work of W.D. Gann

Some years ago, a friend of Dr. Goulden's who worked at an investment bank mentioned that he was attempting to apply the trading methods of a gentlemen named W.D. Gann, who was very successful in the 1900s.

Dr. Goulden, not being interested in money or the financial markets, paid little attention. Several months later, his friend approached him again, suggesting that Mr. Gann’s methods were very esoteric and were not being revealed in the public literature.

Trading Records

To validate Dr. Goulden's techniques described in Behind the Veil, the Institute of Cosmological economics requested documentation of his trading and forecasting expertise.

Prior to publishing "Behind the Veil" Dr. Goulden provided forecasts to the ICE and a group of hedge funds. These forecasts indicated a two to four day time window for the next major pivot in seven different markets; T-Notes, Soybeans, Gold, Platinum, Cocoa, Cotton and Bund. The accumulation of his results yielded seven successful trades (one for each market) with a gain of 3,161 points in approximately 7 days.

On another occasion, December 3, 2009, Dr. Goulden entered a short trade in the Silver market at the exact top, 1946.5, only missing the extreme high of 1949.2 due to the limitations of online order execution speed, but still catching the extreme of the double top on the prior day at 1946.8. His timing was exact almost to the minute that the extreme top was made, the trade executed at 1:38 GMT. The Silver market then steadily declined over 480 points until February 5 to 1465.2, yielding a $12,025 return on one contract.
