A non-technical introduction to our general field of research, explaining what it’s all about, where it came from, the historical origins of this field of thought, early proponents of this theory, the scientific and philosophical foundations of these ideas, leading to the practical applications. We have also compiled large selection of documented historical proof of the results of these applied theories and techniques.
Before we go deeper, let’s begin by documenting the history of proven results of some of the top proponents of this system over the past 150 years. These analysts produced forecasts and trading records that have become famous in this field and provide undeniable evidence of the claims made by this theory.
Samuel Benner, an Ohio farmer, first began tracking cycles and sequences of crop prices in the 1860’s, creating one of the first forecast models still used by analysts today.
William D. Gann is regarded as the great master of this field and ultimate trail blazer of the tradition. 'With the desire to help others I have written "45 Years in Wall Street" giving the benefit of my experience and my new discoveries to aid others in these difficult times. I am now in my 72nd year; fame would do me no good. I have more income than I can spend for my needs; therefore, my only object in writing this new book is to give to others the most valuable gift possible - KNOWLEDGE! If a few find the way to make safer investments my object will have been accomplished and satisfied readers will be my reward.'After graduating from MIT in 1898 Roger Babson began his business career as an employee of a Boston investment firm, where he learned about securities. He soon set up his own business selling bonds in New York City and then in Worcester, Massachusetts, before returning to Boston in 1900, again to work for an investment house. Soon afterwards he contracted tuberculosis and it was advisable for him to move away from the city. He resolved to become self-employed, starting a business based on his investment expertise, publishing newsletters containing his analysis of stocks and bonds and selling subscriptions to investors and to banks.
In the next decade Babson and his wife, Grace, realized millions of dollars in annual revenues and following the market crash in 1907 expanded his investment practice to include counseling on what to buy and sell, as well as when it was wise to purchase or unload stocks. He was a regular financial columnist for various newspapers, including the Saturday Evening Post and the New York Times. One of the first Billionaires, Roger Babson used Newton’s principle of Action & Reaction to create a theory of market analysis that forecasted the 1929 stock market crash.
An engineer and close friend of Babson, Dr Alan Andrews developed a toolbox of valuable geometrical techniques to measure and trade financial markets. It is to Dr. Alan Andrews that we must look to gain a better understanding of the practical forecasting applications of Roger Babson’s Newtonian theories. In Andrew’s interpretation of Babson, he demonstrated how using Babson’s Normal Line, which he renamed the “Median Line”, one could then geometrically construct projections of future swings and turns using the relationships from the past.
George Marechal’s famous forecast chart predicted the general price movements of the Dow Jones Industrials for a period of 15 years, copyrighted in advance. Edward R Dewey said that "The important thing about this study [Marechal's chart] is not the exact precision by which it came true, or the amount of money you would or would not have made if you had followed it. The important thing is that it shows that the market has predictable patterns. In other words, that the seeming disorder of market fluctuations really is subject to law, and that this law is learnable."
Edward R. Dewey studied cycles, claiming that "everything that has been studied has been found to have cycles present." He studied cyclicity in the contexts of many disciplines including economics, physical sciences such as geology and biology, and in sociology. Dewey concluded that seemingly unrelated time series frequently had similar cycles periods and that where these similarities occurred then the phase of these cycles was also often very similar.
The Hasbroucks were deeply connected to the esoteric and financial market communities from the 1920’s through the 1970’s, and contributed a new and recontextualized presentation of information taken from older original esoteric sources. They present a new field of study of solar phenomena, space weather prediction, earthquake prediction and market forecasting.
The Space–Time Forecasts of Muriel & Louis Hasbrouck Muriel & Louis Hasbrouck predicted the exponential bull market of the 1990’s with the 2001 top followed by a crash, 50 YEARS in advance. They also forecasted space weather and earthquakes with a high degree of accuracy.
