Applied Gann Theory

Supported by the cosmological theory behind Gann’s work, we also specialize in practical tools needed to analyze and trade the markets. This category will specifically focus upon the books and courses that provide very specific and applied tools from Gann’s toolbox used for real time trading.

Options Trading

Options provide many very useful benefits, like locking in the limit of your risk, since you can never lose more than the cost of the option you purchase. With the current volatility of the market and overnight trading, many traders are afraid to hold positions overnight, but options can give a safe way to hold open positions without fear of extreme volatility.

Swing Trading

Swing Trading works with short to intermediate term swings, usually with time periods from a few days to weeks, following a general changing trend and trading in each direction. Most systems consider position reversal, and try to trade short and long as the market changes direction. Gann taught swing trading first, with its relatively easy methodology.

Alchemy

The name Alchemy has reference to Ancient Egypt, known to Arabs as Kemi (Black Land). Al-Kemi means "of Egypt". The Great or Royal Art of medieval philosophers predated chemistry but goes beyond material science to more subtle concern with transmutation - of base metals into gold, and of base man into spiritual man. .

Zen

Zen and Chan are similar terms from Japanese and Chinese systems of Buddhism, but they originate from the Indian word Dhyana, loosely translated as "meditation". Zen is a mind science, giving direct access to the core layers of mind. The origin of Zen is in India, home of Buddhism. Allan Watt’s called it "Hinduism stripped for export".

Fractal Geometry

A branch of Chaos Theory, fractals are beautiful self-similar patterns mathematically generated from non-linear equations. Fractals apply directly to financial market phenomena, and time-periodic market charts show that similar patterns permeate each time level. Gann and Baumring saw common patterns foreshadowing coming events within consistent structure.
