Since the death of W. D. Gann in 1955, the legend and mystery surrounding this great market master has continued to grow until it has today reached legendary status. One must ask why the status of one so difficult to understand in his written teachings that the majority of people who approach his books and courses either give up right away or spend years, even decades, in an almost obsessive search to understand the theories of this enigmatic man.
Certainly Gann himself is responsible for creating much of this legend beginning with the his interview in the 1909 Ticker & Investment Digest, the precursor of the Wall Street Journal, where under observation he made 286 trades of which 264 were profitable and only 22 losers. He explained his success as being based upon a scientific “Law of Vibration”, an integrated empirical science based upon mathematics, and natural philosophy, and at that point the legend was born.
It would be over 10 years before Gann began his writing career producing seven books and many hundreds of pages of advanced stock and commodity market courses, containing varied levels of revelation of his market secrets accordingly as the student paid higher and higher prices. His Number Three Master Forecasting Method went for $2,500 in 1939, and other of his “complete” courses priced at $5,000, with these prices still excluding his greatest secrets like the Mathematical Formula For Market Predictions and his astrological system.
What is most perplexing, however, is that even today, with access to most of these rarest and valuable of Gann’s teachings publicly available at far more affordable prices than in Gann’s time, there are still very, very few individuals who have been able to master, let alone even profitably apply most of Gann’s. analytical techniques. One wonders whether there were not further courses which explained even more clearly the inner mechanisms of Gann’s systems, and there are certainly rumors that such courses did indeed exist.
There are subjects like financial astrology, which are know to have been used by Gann, the clues to which may be found scattered throughout all of his work, yet there is no explicit instruction on the use of any such method anywhere to be found. Even the “Law of Vibration” is almost never referred to again after the 1909 interview, and there is no instruction on the application of natural science in his work. Yet, anyone who has studied these subjects is fully aware that these scientific and metaphysical principles provide the fundamental basis to every element of Gann’s theory.
What is most surprising in modern Gann research is that there are so few analysts who follow Gann’s clues and look to the underlying principles behind his theories. One finds traders uselessly drawing “Gann Angles” on their charts without having the slightest sense of their meaning or true purpose. Most of them doen't even understand that unlsess they "square" their charts, none of Gann's geometrical techniques will work properly.
The following course was written to rectify this problem, and to “unveil” the mystery of Gann Analysis by revealing the scientific foundations upon which it is based, and their integrated application to trading and forecasting. Outside of the work of Dr. Jerome Baumring, and the classic market masters, this is the first work we have seen of a standard of quality that lives up to that of the Master, W. D. Gann, himself.
Covering in detail a dozen of Gann's most difficult analysis techniques and theories, this course will advance the general reader to new levels insight and understanding of Gann's complex theories. This course is a companion volume to Ferrera's Path of Least Resistance, which continues this study 15 years later, taking these ideas to more advanced levels.
As far as I'm concerned, Mysteries should receive the Nobel Prize for "Key to the Market Analysts treasure chest!

I want more knowledge, this material is amazing!!
SF, Texas
I am an ardent fan of this man. His annual forecasts are an excellent guide for my own calculations and am thrilled when I match his forecasts. Almost all I really know about real trading is from his material.
RM, New York, NY
I have learnt that there is MUCH more between the lines of this book that I at first realized. I haven't studied "Path" nearly as much, though it is just as good, or any of the other books I have from Dan's stable yet, as I am still so immersed in Mysteries! I don't even look at any of the other writers out there...why should I?
JG, London, UK
Not to "shill" for Dan, however, I second Gordon Robert's comments! Dan does some remarkable work, "Economic and Stock Market Forecasting", and "Path of Least Resistance" being two of his finest after Mysteries!... his annual "Outlooks" compliment both, and are very well done. Not to mention Spirals which is something on a totally different mind plane!
JG, Detroit, MI
When I get this price technique down "pat" that I've pulled out of Dan's Mysteries, there is no way that I am going to tell anybody. I yearn for the opportunity to tell some smart ass banker or fund manager when they ask me how much money I want for my Calx my answer will echo the erstwhile Mr Gann "you haven't got enough money!"
All because I found you and got to thank Dan Ferrera for his work. Everything I know about trading is through his work.
I am now now at a place where I use my head, backed up by many hours of reading, trying, swearing and trying again. I would expect Dan wants people to put in the work and dig out them thar gold nuggets in between the sentences of various pages.
My deepest thanks...
