Sepharial's Kaleidoscope. A Monthly Column from the British Astrology Journal. Walter Gorn Old, 1111 pages.
This was a centerpiece of the British Journal of Astrology, 6 pages of each 16 page issue. Sepharial wrote the column for 22 years, and it represents the bulk of Sepharial's work including some of his best and most revealing writings.
The stock and commodity markets have a history stretching over millennia, from the Bible to the present day, furnishing data on sun spots, planetary changes, weather cycles, volcanoes, earthquakes, solar variances, and other influences on financial markets.
Gann charted Wheat back to 65 BC and Baumring took this back to 1200 BC.
We may be indebted to Ancient Greece, but Greek knowledge derived from Ancient Egypt, and Hermes Trismegistus, the Thrice Great Hermes is the Greek name of Thoth, the Egyptian God of Knowledge.
Hermetic teachings were first translated into Western languages by Ficino at the dawn of the Renaissance, forming the inspiration for modern esotericism.
Esoteric and Pythagorean sciences love to play with the value and meaning of numbers, from the complex mathematical theories of the Platonists, via Fibonacci’s ideas, to number progressions, ratios, proportions, sequences, and chaos theory.
We specialize in the overlap of numerical and esoteric systems positing a more integrated cosmology.
Dr. Alexander Goulden
A Cambridge scholar who, intrigued by the challenge of Gann's esoteric work created a powerful set of technical tools based upon principles of Ancient Geometry, Celestial Mechanics, and Pythagorean Harmonics, which project Price, Time and Trend with exact precision.
His 2nd course applies the Secrets of Ancient Astrology to forecasting.
Magic Words Thru the Zodiac cracks the complex symbolic code that W. D. Gann used within "The Tunnel Thru the Air".
It unveils a Masonic Gematria cypher which serves to decrypt references and clues concealed in names, dates and other key words thru the text.
These conversions are used to determine anchor points for important market cycles.
W.D. Gann Works
We stock the complete collection of the works of W.D. Gann.
His private courses represent the most important of his writings, going into much greater detail than the public book series. Our 6 Volume set of Gann's Collected Writings includes supplementary rare source materials, and is the most reliable compliation of Gann's unadulterated vital work.
Dr. Jerome Baumring
The work of Dr. Baumring is the core inspiration upon which this entire website is based. Baumring is the only known modern person to have cracked the code behind WD Gann’s system of trading and market order.
Baumring found and elaborated the system of scientific cosmology at the root of Gann’s Law of Vibration.
There is no other Gann teaching that gets close to the depth of Baumring’s work.
The Clairvoyant’s Window Trader’s World Article: Spring 2020
Markets, Horse Racing, Lottery The Research Arena of the Speculator
By Eric Penicka
The Clairvoyant’s Window by Eric Penicka ( $3,600.00 )
Many of the traders reading Tradersworld magazine have also had an interest in applying the esoteric arts to horse racing and the lottery. W.D. Gann was rumored to be adept at both. Sepharial has numerous books on the subject of horse racing, at least treating the topic on the surface in some of them.
The move to study these speculative activities individually is a natural course of action for those traders who gravitate toward esoteric study. Researchers will find astrological connections in terms of analysis technique between these three forecasting applications can go hand in hand. Besides, in these fields, results can be confirmed within a minute or two. So, it’s an excellent testing ground.
Various forms of astrology, number cycles, and numerology can be applied in the forecasting of race and lottery results. Tropical western astrology, and Vedic astrology are the primary methods in use in my new book, The Clairvoyant’s Window.
Horse race betting is similar to trading in that it is a combination of art and science. In the same way that a lot of us use technical tools in trading along with our esoteric analysis, the handicapper uses the fundamental information of the game of racing along with the integration of the astro-numerology.
For instance, the wise handicapper understands how to use running line past performance information, computer software, and the basic statistics of the long term results of the racetrack to his advantage, merging the exoteric with the esoteric, as many traders use technical analysis with their esoteric tools.
Executing a trade properly for a trader is no different for the handicapper, who needs to know how to structure a bet, or series of bets, and manage a betting account properly. The skill set required for success is very similar, only the knowledge base is different.
The trader needs liquidity and volatility, the handicapper needs good odds to increase the projected payoff.
In horse racing picking more winners is diametrically opposed to making more money. This is a fundamental, immutable fact of the pari-mutuel system. The lowest odds horse, the favorite, wins the most. The second lowest odds horse wins the next most, and so on…
The favorite is winning around 35% of the races and throws off a net loss on dollars wagered. The second favorite, or second betting choice, wins about 20%. and also offers a net loss when taken straight up as a win bet.
Generally, the top two betting choices do not meet the odds requirement to produce the type of payoff required to make a good profit. The other side of the spectrum is the 5% of winners that are difficult to hit, who pay the extremely high odds.
The professional player looks to take the meat in that other 40% area of the odds spectrum. A lower win percentage comes with a higher return on investment.
Much of the exoteric information is readily available to the public. The horses chosen by the majority of bettors are usually made with information available to the public in general. Information that is available to all has diluted wagering value, in the sense that the more people knowing something about a horse and betting it, the less it will pay.
The astrological factors offer wagering value because very few people are using them. This is what gives the users of astrology an edge.
One of the fields of astrological study is the Vedic system. This system is very deep and has many facets.
One of the best predictive methods off the Vedic tree is the branch referred to as the Krishnamurti Ruling Planet method, often referred to as the Krishnamurti Paddhati. It is commonly referred to as KP astrology.
K.S. Krishnamurti is the architect of this modern method and his work is available on the Internet.
One of the proprietary methods of analysis in The Clairvoyant’s Window uses a variation on the KP method. This is basic KP with a twist. The KP is explained and starts off simply, and then more complicated uses of the KP method are introduced, which will enhance the results.
Everybody likes the big race days like The Kentucky Derby, the other triple crown races, and The Breeders Cup.
The KP method caught the winners of the Kentucky Derby and longshots in the money in The Preakness, though did not have a clear qualifier in The Belmont, so no Triple Crown for KP. Other astrological techniques described in the book did predict the longshot horses in The Belmont finish.
The KP Method has been programmed into an Excel sheet and the output comes with a couple clicks which takes the hard labor out of it.
Looking at the first leg of the Triple, Crown, The Kentucky Derby, the following screenshots show the KP Excel sheet.
The next screenshot picks up the rest of the field as the Excel sheet is limited to 15 horses. The Derby field is the only race of the year where more than 15 horses are run in the USA. Note, not all of the numbers in the KP screenshots are the horse program numbers in the race.
There were 20 horses entered in the race. Shown here are 15 of them, with the rest on the second screenshot. Omaha Beach and Haikal were scratched.
The yellow highlight indicates the top 3 in the KP system. #4 Gray Magician had no business in this race, so in my opinion, I did not use him anywhere on any tickets. #5 Improbable had some distance questions before the race and was one of three runners Bob Baffert had in this race. Improbable was the betting favorite and still had to be respected for a potential top 4 finish.
Betting a favorite in the win pool in the Kentucky Derby is never an option to a serious race bettor. The last 5 or 6 years the favorite has won, which is a long streak due to be broken. They must be used in exotics however, as the statistics of the game will hand you a lot of losing tickets should they be ignored.
The intriguing horse here is Country House who is not getting any respect at 65-1.
The KP method clearly has him up top with Improbable. If you know your KP you will notice that Country House is the top ranked yellow horse by virtue of the strength of the ruling planets.
The co-favorite in the race is Maximum Security who was the most likely winner according to the experts.
He does seem more likely to win than Improbable, as Improbable has some legitimate distance questions in his pedigree to go 1¼ miles.
There was a new moon coming exact, right at the start of the race. Talk about the potential for some fireworks, or for something dramatic to happen, this was a serious foreshadowing indicator.
In order to sort through the horses and get a deeper look, the house significators will help to choose additional horses who will qualify to hit the top 4 positions for the trifecta and superfecta players.
Generally, there are 1 to 4 yellow qualifiers in a race. When there are many tier 2 (brown highlight), or tier 3 (reddish brown highlight), then the main and supporting house significators are looked at to separate them.
The primary house significator indicates the 6, 7, 13, 19 have top 4 finish potential.
They are Vekoma, Maximum Security, Code of Honor, and Spinoff, respectively.
The supporting house significators points to 7, 8, and 15 as potential top 3 or 4 finishers.
No. 8 Tacitus is one of the expert’s picks, and is the third betting choice at just under 6-1.
The contender pool looks like this:
Key horse longshot 20 Country House
Top three betting choices who are 3 KP or signified are the 5, 7, 8 and all qualify.
That leaves 6, 13, 15, 19 as the rest of the long shot group.
No. 15 Master Fencer is a throw out. Foreign invaders who do not receive betting action do not ever do well.
This makes the last group 6, 13, 19.
The planet numerology for the day indicates for the numbers 1, 2, 4, 7 to be prominent. Note that three of the four in the contender group fitting these numbers were in the top 4 finish.
Of the group, this sets up 7, 13 ,19, 20, as these numbers, when reduced, are part of the active numbers this day. Two or 3 of these should hit the top 4 so that helps to structure tickets.
The most basic play that makes sense is to bet Country House across the board. The other play is to take the top three betting favorites and box each of them with Country House. That is 5 Improbable, 7 Maximum Security, and 8 Tacitus.
This simple $2 base bet costs $12 for the key box and paid over $3,000.
A good way to structure trifectas and superfectas is to expand your exacta ticket placing the rest of the contenders in the third and 4th slots.
Without getting into complex ticket structure, or conventional handicapping, just look to get value into the tickets. In a simple example, Country House is a key for the top 3. One or two of the top 3 betting choices are likely to hit the top 4. The longshots should be placed in another slot, looking to get one from that group in the mix with Country House. The numerology helps greatly also.
A superfecta ticket structure would look like this using Country House 1st, 2nd, then 3rd.:
At a base bet of $1 these tickets cost $18 each. The super paid over $50,000.
Most tracks today play the super for a 1-cent minimum. These tickets would then cost $1.80 each and it would have paid over $5,000.
The trifecta for a base 50-cent ticket paid $5737.65.
Astrology was able to whittle this 20-horse field to 7 horses with a couple key horses and a good idea of who would finish where. Considering this is one of the hardest races of the year to handicap the top 4 or 5 finishers, this is an exceptional result.
This was the craziest outcome in a Derby in anyone’s memory. The expert’s choice, Maximum Security won the race and was disqualified after what seemed like an eternity to anyone holding tickets on him or Country House. Country House was declared the winner.
The winner, exacta, trifecta, and superfecta, were there to be had by the KP astrologer.
Are you going to hit every race? Of course not. But if you pick your spots, where the race has value, you don’t have to hit a high percentage of these to make a lot of money.
Play the races where there is potential payoff. Never use the top three betting choices in the top 3 positions in trifectas or superfectas.
The result chart and payoffs are shown below courtesy of Equibase.
