Mysticism

Most mystical systems tend to come from Eastern Traditions, dominated by Hindu Vedanta and Buddhism, followed by the Sufi tradition. Judaism has the mystical tradition of Kaballah, and Christianity has great figures like Meister Eckhart, St. Teresa of Avilla, Hildegard von Bingen and Thomas Merton.

Numerology

Systems of numerology date back to ancient Egypt, India and Israel. Hebrew number science, Gematria, was woven through the sacred texts of Semitic religion. Plato used numerical codes in his works, and Thomas Taylor elaborated the advanced systems of Pythagoras in his "Theoretic Arithemetic of the Pythagoreans".

Theosophy

Theosophy, a school of esoteric thought developed my Helena Blavatsky in the late 1800’s presented a revival of many lost esoteric traditions. Many of Gann’s contemporaries were closely involved with Theosophy, and it influenced the Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner, the Arcane School and work of Alice Bailey and the teacher Krishnamurti.

Yoga

Yoga is an Indian system of human development with many branches and schools. The word Yoga means "yoke", as in yoking a horse to a carriage, and Yoga gives methods for man to link himself to the Divine. Yogic systems include Laya Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Kriya Yoga and Karma Yoga.

Hans Kayser

Kayser, the greatest scholar of harmonic science, was far ahead of his time, penetrating the depths of ancient esoteric Pythagorean Tradition to present a universal Law of Vibration. His "Textbook of Harmonics" provides the most valuable insight into Gann’s Law of Vibration of any resource. We have so far translated four of his works into English.

Harmonics and Music

The science of harmonics is one of the most important subjects in the esoteric and scientific traditions, positing that harmonic relationships of vibration govern the structure of the universe. W.D. Gann called his system of market order the "Law of Vibration", and used principles of harmonics and vibration to predict trends in the financial markets.

Natural Philosophy

In the 1700-1800’s Natural Philosophers studied a wide range of scientific subjects, while not overly specializing in narrow and limited fields as scientists do today. WD Gann espoused this more holistic system of science, where the different branches were more easily integrated and the grand vision of the scientific system was more interlinked.

Eric Penicka

The solution to Gann's Law of Vibration from the 1909 Ticker Interview. Penicka analyzes Gann’s exact words correlating them with the cutting edge science of Gann’s day to develop a system which identifies the “mathematical points of force” behind all market action. The Periodic Table of Elements determines a system of order based upon atomic structure which generates a master number set for each market defining its structure in price and time.

Sean Erikson

Baumring’s initial set of Gann 1 materials provides the first level of Baumring’s course series, giving a first orientation to Baumring's theories & teachings. It lays out the groundwork of the Seminar Series, providing an overview of Baumring’s general interpretation of Gann Theory and introducing the key topics of the study. This first Gann 1 section is considered the most important, because it presents an overview of the contents of the entire series, giving a roadmap of the study and setting the student’s perspective onto the right orientation.
